The 5 best spas in Canberra that will melt all your worries away

Range of services offered: I looked for spas that provide more than just massages—places offering facials, body scrubs, hydrotherapy, or packages for a complete wellness experience.

Atmosphere and environment: I paid attention to reviews and photos showing serene interiors, calming music, and staff who make clients feel at ease.

Reputation and client feedback: I checked Google reviews, social media mentions, and testimonials to see what past visitors actually said about their experiences.

Expertise of staff: I included spas that highlight the training and credentials of their team, which gave me confidence in recommending them.

Value for money: I prioritised those that offer a balance of quality treatments and fair pricing, with options for both one-off sessions and indulgent packages.

Complete bliss

“I LOVE this place. I had a treatment before my wedding which was amazing, and then today I came in for a pregnancy treatment after a rough few months and a very difficult pregnancy. I got the pregnancy massage, fragonia hair treatment, rainforest foot ritual and bright eyes add on. Chloe made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Sometimes I feel a bit awkward at a spa/massage but I didn’t at all today! I had been a bit nervous in case I didn’t feel well or something but she was so lovely and offered me help if I needed it. It was complete bliss. It’s a large, relaxing space. It feels like a very safe space as a woman.  I love that all the products are Australian made and organic, and the implementation of indigenous cultures and native plants. So beautiful.”

Amazing couple’s massage

“Had an amazing couple’s massage at Jindii Eco Spa in the Botanical Gardens! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The staff were warm, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. The massage itself was one of the best I’ve ever had—perfect pressure, incredibly relaxing, and left us feeling refreshed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-quality massage in a peaceful and professional environment!”
